Aluminium open dinghy with cross seats. Suitable rowing or with outboatd to 10 hp steering from back. Three lenghts with same beam; 12'6, 13'4 or 14'2. Beam 5'6.Build from 3mm plate with flat bar frames and tubular stem and chine bars. Full size patterns of stem and frames with plan set. Aluminium hull weight is 134 kg for shortest option, 145kg for medium option and 160kg for longer version (approximate material weight add 10%). Built inverted. Flat bar frames 50 x 6 mm flat bar constructed from shape on full size patterns. 3mm plateing. 2.5 can be used for lighter boat. Stem, keel and gunwale from tube. Plating forms easily on to tube fore and aft members which form a backing bar for the welding reducing distortion. Towing weight work on additional weight of outboard, fuel and 25 kg gear.
Person capacity:Smaller boat 3 persons. Larger two boats 4 persons. Note the safe person capacity and outfitting must be in accordance with local marine authotity regulations. Robust beamy conventional shape dinghy style get-a-bout for sheltered water use. Has three cross seats with polyurethane foam buoyancy under. Suitable rowing or out board power. Very nice sea worthy shape. Suitable heavy duty use.
