Planing hull, constant deadrise with no twist. Has flaired topsides between chine and deck line forward. 12.5 degrees deadrise at transon.
Plans come with full size patterns. This hull shape was ahead of its time. The engines available such as the Perkins 6.354, although great engines, were a little too heavy to make this hull really go. It comes alive very much with the new light weight diesels such as the Yanmar, Volvo or Styer new generation of marine diesels. 1.5:1 downangle gearbox. 500mm propeller. |
