Question
I have been considering building a catamaran for commercial crabbing.I have been considering the z cat. However I know just how sea worthy these hulls can be. Would the two up be suitable to use as a displacement hull for this purpose with twin 30hp engines on the extended version.
Also would the design be rugged enough or is this hull really only for pleasue use.
Answer
Both Two Up and Z Cat are right on the legal towing beam. What length do you want to build.? The Z Cat at 6.5 metres has more waterline length, is designed to survey standards, and will operate better and faster at displacement speed Email us using the contact us facility and we will send latest pics. However you can plate Two Up with 4mm plate to survey standards. Z Cat is as easy to build
