Hi, I will be ordering the plan for this next month. I have learnt to weld aluminium well (easier than I first thought) and have most materials. My question is What is involved in building to survey, does it may the boat worth more if I ever decide to sell it. John

Dear John. A craft used for commercial purposes must be what is called '' in Survey'' to a State Marine Authority. The survey covers application,and checking during building and also the craft must be compliant as far as safety is concerned. There is no purpose in you having the craft put into survey,however if you buy the plans from us and build thr boat to the plans then the hull structure will meet survey requirements at a later date. That is all you will need for resale value of an Aluminium boat
