Question

What is the difference between the mooring version of the Alloy Seaboat and the Flying Silver? Can the Flying Silver's length be increased?

Answer

Flying Silver has a 20 degree deep vee and is 9 foot in beam. The enlarged Seaboat has 15 degree moderate vee as it is simply an enlargement.
The deep vee is great at speed offshore but in the 2.45 metre beam hulls (legal road width) it is not the best of platforms to fish from. When we go up in beam the hull settles down more when stopped.
Flying Silver can be extended to 26 foot using the standard plan.
