Can this design be extended in length or beam? what alternate topside designs are available?eg Centre console/cab?
Answer
The larger version of this is design 126 which is 8.6 metres (28.2 feet) in length. Beam 2.8 metres (9.2 feet). Displacement 3.5 tonnes. Aluminium weight 2000kg. Recommended engine 210 hp. Speed about 21 knots.Appearance is similar.There is no alternative drawing for a centre console,but the plans are fundamentally to build the hull platform and builders will have no trouble altering an aluminium house structure to suit them selves. We can provide a guigance sketch at no extra cost.
There is a longer version at 8.8 metres with a longer cab and more accommodation.
