Yes it can.The plan set for aluminium includes an accurate lines plan and table of offsets to inside of planking. These plans provide the hull shape. The hull could be built in composites such as balsa core or cedar strip planking using materials,laminate thickeness and core material thickeness that many composite material suppliers are prepared to supply to boatbuilders purchasing materials from them.
