to ask the question in can this boat be built in steel with say a aloy wheel hose. if so what size diesel motor would u need?and what speed would u get
Answer
Could be using 3mm plate. You might get a bit of distortion . Epoxy internal paint system (after blasting) required and this takes time and extra money. Hull would be heavier but hull shape is ideal for slower speed. I have not done calcs but I guess no less than 16 knots with the Cummins 6BT 210
