by Boden Customer Date Added: Wednesday 03 February, 2010
Question

Can the alloy express beam be increased to same or greater than alloy day fisher. is it possible to increase cabin length and carry a 11 to 12 foot tinny with motor on top behind flybridge. can alloy day fisher engine room be changed to a under floor double berth accessed from near forward vee berth below deck. given a single engine jet combination, what horsepower would be required to maintain a 30 knot plus and what range could you expect.

Answer

The Bollard design has the wrong hull shape for a jet. You will need the Alloy Express hull shape. Beam can be increased and the layout changed and jet motor fitted. This is virtually a new design
