I would like to know the following information about the Bollard 145, 14 metre aluminium fast fishing boat.
1/ does the design allow for a twin shaft drive set-up?
2/ If so would a pair of 300hp M11 Cummins suit the application?
3/ Do you have a study plan package available for a more detailed view of the design?
Answer
Plans could be modified for twin engine installation. Work on an additional US$1500.00 for a detail plan for your intended engine installation, shafts, brackets and rudder mods. The Cummins at 300hp would be fine ,we would have to think about gearboxes but that’s nothing than cannot be sorted out. Happy to supply a worthwhile study set suitable for you to come to a business decision and estimates. Cost would be US$100.00 air mail posted to you. Happy to deduct cost of study set if you buy the plans later
