what determines how far back the motor can be placed for a shft drive vessel? can the shaft and prop also be moved further astern to place all in aft third?
Answer
You can fit a vee drive gearbos with the engine aft but these are NOT THE BEST GEARBOXES AND THE SHAFT SEAL IN UNDER THE MOTOR MAKING MAINTENANCE DIFFICULT. BETTER YOU TELL US WHAT YOU HOPE TO GET IN A CRAFT AND i CAN ADVISE
