The boat is designed as a economical low power diesel fishing craft obtaining displacement hull speed with about 50 hp.It will take a motor to 120-hp such as a 6 cylinder Cummins or Perkins running a reduced RPM. Some owners like this. Definitely no more than 120hp motor
