Thanks for the great site, just wondering if you guys could suggest how to buy alloy at the right price to build one of your boats thank you

Assuming you are in Australia. One Steel / Tuberight is fast becoming the better supplier and are in the process of training their sales staff to better respond to boat builders enquires. (After I spoke to the Australian aluminium marketing manager who was aware that better product knowledge is required. Aluminium costing is generally based on kilo weight purchased. This means if you can tag your order on to a large purchaser such as a fabricator, you will get it cheaper. Aluminium has kept its price reasonable compared with steel costs which have risen considerably lately
