What length could this design be extended to with out needing to exceed the max trailer regs? cheers.
Answer
Experience with large cats on the legal road width has definitely proven that 7 metres is the limit. Reason the weight starts to get too heavy for the amount of buoyancy in the hulls especially when launching. If you want to keep the cat super light then go for 7.5 metres, trouble is that most go for a longer cat because they want to put more in it
