What is the max sea conditions this boat would be safe in?

We are being asked this question a lot. The maximum sea conditions that the US Coast Guard consider safe for a pleasure craft with a capable operator of average experience obtained by a formula. I think it is as follows. Maximum wave height is the length in feet divided by 10 plus the freeboard height.in feet However it you are in the USA please check this out with the US Coast Guard
