Question
Can Togari be built in ply and glassed as I understand the North Sea can. If so could the potential weight saving go to increasing balast and give the option of a bigger rig.
Answer
Yes it could be built in ply with timber frames and use of laminated timber. However there is not a timber construction plan. May be an extended North Sea is single chine and Togari Double chine. Also you could use the North Sea construction plan details. We would supply both plan sets for the cost of the Togari plans. We would also supply additional details of the construction in way of the double chine
