I'm looking for a relatively flat bottomed boat for use in some inland lakes but mostly on the river. I want to use a outboard jet on it. Could this pattern be extended to 16 or more preferably 18 feet.

Yes if extended it would be ideal for inland river use where a wider beam is not necessarily an advantage and is extra weight. Could go up to 18 feet
